Planning your Visit

Hello!

We're excited that you're thinking about visiting us! Below, you'll find everything you need to know about what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at the Church Building in the centre of the Bishopdown estate in Salisbury for our Sunday Service, which starts at 10:30 AM. For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early. This will give you time to find parking and settle in before the service begins. Upon arrival, a member of our Welcome Team will greet you and assist you in finding your way around.

Accessibility

Our building has wheelchair access, and we provide a sound loop for those who need it. If you require assistance, please let a member of the Welcome Team know upon your arrival, and they will be happy to help. Disabled toilets are available in the main entrance.

Our Gathering

As Christians, we gather to worship God together, pray, read His Word the Bible, and encourage each other. During the gathering, you can expect:

Singing: We sing old and new songs of praise
Prayer: for ourselves, our community, our country, and the world
Bible Reading: We read from the Bible.
Sermon: We listen to a sermon, which you can also find in our Sermons section if you’d like to catch up on previous messages.

We do not take a collection during the service, but a collection box is available for those who wish to support the church’s work—there’s no obligation. On the third Sunday of each month, we celebrate the Lord's Supper together.

And Afterwards?

At the end of the service, we invite you to stay and enjoy tea, coffee, squash, and biscuits. This is an opportunity to get to know others, ask questions, and both encourage and be encouraged in our faith.  By this time, you’ll likely have met several friendly faces who will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

What About My Kids?

Children start the service with their parents or guardians for the welcome, songs, and notices.  We believe in worshipping together as a family. After the notices, we announce when it’s time for the younger members to go to Sunday School.

Our Sunday School provides age-appropriate activities, including

  • Bible stories
  • Prayer and music
  • Crafts and fun games
